Karma-AV Promises A Space Full Of Stars At The Hi-Fi Show 2017

Mark Levinson’s ‘Outstanding’ line-up and Primare’s new range light up the UK’s premier specialist hi-fi show…

Leading specialist AV distributor Karma-AV is planning to unveil a galaxy of new stars at the Hi-Fi Show Live 2017, which is being held at the Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor, Berkshire, October 21st-22nd 2017

Among them, in Buckingham Suite 4, will be the latest generation of Mark Levinson separates, including the extraordinary No515 turntable, No519 audio player and No534 dual-mono amplifier – all making their UK show debuts. Mark Levinson’s first ever turntable is a brilliant mix of precision-engineered transcription and state-of the-art design, while its No519 player will resolve virtually any digital audio format perfectly. The No519’s full complement of wired and wireless digital audio inputs will accommodate USB asynchronous streaming and mass storage, Gigabit Ethernet, Balanced, Optical, Coaxial, Wi-Fi, aptX® Bluetooth, and an integrated slot-loading CD player. In addition, the No519 includes high-performance headphone connectivity and integrated digital volume control allowing it to serve as a fully integrated digital music source. Following in the finest traditions of Mark Levinson amplification, the brutally powerful, fully discrete new No534 dual-mono amplifier delivers 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, operating purely in class A for most listening conditions, doubling to 500W into 4 ohms, with stable operation into 2 ohm loads.

In support will be the acclaimed 12-input dual-mono No526 preamplifier featuring Levinson’s ‘Pure Path’ circuit topology, a class A ‘Pure Phono’ stage, a 32-bit DAC, and a class A Main Drive Headphone output; and the No585 integrated amplifier which unites the latest state-of-the-art Mark Levinson processing and power topologies in a single box.

The gift of such exemplary audio design will reach the ears of the show audience through a range of speakers from Mark Levinson’s sister brands at Harman’s Luxury Audio division, including those from JBL. Its 4367 and 4312 SE studio monitors rekindle a classic lineage by combining new acoustic systems with the company’s iconic pro-audio design.

And to deliver the best possible mains supply quality, Torus Power’s TOT AVR conditioner provides isolation from the outside power grid through a Plitron toroidal isolation transformer, and uses the company’s Automatic Voltage Regulation technology to ensure that the voltage that powers Karma-AV’s superlative Hi Fi Show systems remains at optimal levels.

Karma-AV’s second room, the Buckingham Suite 2, hosts the UK show debut of Primare’s new I35 and compact I15 integrated amplifiers and CD35 disc player, each featuring Prisma: Primare’s new whole-home, high fidelity control and connectivity solution. Prisma offers network playback from stored and streamed media, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® connection, as well as multi-room/multi-zone connectivity and control, all managed through the Prisma application, allowing Prisma system management from any mobile device.

A Prisma system will be driving the award-winning Revel Concerta2 M16 2-way bookshelf monitor, a smart and sophisticated system of 1in aluminium tweeter and 6.5in bass/mid driver, meticulously designed, refined and engineered for absolute accuracy at Harman Luxury Audio’s Northridge CA facility.
